Expected Lead/Ship Time

All Iron-A-Way ironing centers are custom “made to order” product and can take 3-5 business days in house to process. Orders are processed Monday-Friday. Any orders received on Saturday or Sunday will not be processed until Monday.

We ship all ironing centers and large part orders via FedEx ground with approximate delivery time of 3-5 business days. All small parts orders, including Cover/Pad replacements, will ship via USPS , and take approximately 5-7 business days.

Please note: For addresses requiring alternative shipment method via FedEx or UPS for small parts and Cover/Pad orders, please reach out to us directly at 1-800-535-9495  or support@ironaway.com prior to ordering. There are additional fees required in order to ship these items through carriers other than USPS.

Payment Processing

If paying by credit card your order will be pre-authorized upon receipt. Fees will not be withdrawn from your account until your order has been shipped. Shipping for online purchases through Iron-A-Way is prepaid within contiguous U.S. 48 states.

Return/Restocking Fee Notice:

Upon delivery of your Iron-A-Way unit, if merchandise is refused for any reason other than shipping damages, you will receive a 20% restocking charge deducted from your refund upon item return. For all replacement Parts, a 30% restocking charge deducted from your refund upon part return.

Carrier

Iron-A-Way ships all ironing centers purchased through our website via FedEx Ground.

To avoid lost shipments, please provide accurate physical street address. We are unable to ship units or large part orders to Post Office Boxes. ONLY small parts orders and Cover/Pad replacements are accepted for Post Office Box delivery as they ship via USPS.


Express Delivery

Iron-A-Way will ship Next Day, 2nd Day, and 3rd day delivery at the customer’s request. The customer is responsible for all expedited shipping fees. The fee for these expedited shipping methods will be calculated once the product has been packaged and weighed. Expedited shipping reflects business days only. Our carriers do not ship on Saturday or Sunday, therefore do not include them in your estimated delivery date. Estimated ship dates do not include the day the item is shipped. Please contact our Customer Service department for estimated additional shipping costs. Next day service: Delivery will occur on the next full business day. (i.e. if a package is shipped on a Friday, the next business day would be Monday.)

2 Day Service: Delivery will occur on the second full business day. (i.e. if a package is shipped on a Friday, the second business day would be Tuesday.)

3 Day Service: Delivery will occur on the third full business day. (i.e. if a package is shipped on a Friday, the third business day would be Wednesday.)

Shipments to Hawaii & Alaska

Shipping fees are added to orders shipping to Hawaii or Alaska. Please note that at this time, our website cannot accept orders from either location. To order and/or obtain a shipping quote, please call us at 1-800-536-9495.

Shipments to Canada

While currently not a feature of this website, Iron-A-Way is able to accept orders from and ship to Canada. Orders must be placed over the phone by calling 1-800-536-9495. All orders shipping to Canada will have shipping fees added to order total based on location shipping to, and the customer is responsible for all taxes and duties.

International Shipments

Iron-A-Way does not offer international shipments. All international orders MUST ship to a freight forwarder within the U.S. From there, the customer is responsible for arranging shipment outside the U.S. 

PLEASE NOTE: Due to recent warehouse policy, Iron-A-Way no longer accepts 3rd party pick-up.


Important Information About Delivery

FedEx prefers to make the delivery with the person who originally placed the order, in the event that you would like someone else to receive the delivery on your behalf, please note this in the shipping instructions when placing the order. We will be glad to note that on the shipping instructions to our carrier.

During the delivery process the carrier may require the merchandise to be signed for. It is very important to inspect the delivery carton for any creases, tears, dents, or holes. If you notice damage to the product during inspection, refuse the package and note the damage on the bill of lading. After receiving the unit inspect the package by fully unpacking and examining the contents. If you notice damage to the product during your inspection, please call our customer service department immediately as well as Fed Ex at the contact number below.   Claims must by filed within 7 days after receipt. We will issue a return goods authorization (RGA) number if claim is made within the timeframe stated. For un–noticed (“hidden/concealed”) damage call  FedEx within 7 days of delivery at 800–463–3339 with your tracking number to report the damage.
