9/16 A typical ironing board height is 34" to 36" from the floor. Knowing this will help you decide where to cut the opening from the floor when reading the specification chart.
9/17 Do you know we have a trim kit available if you decide to surface mount the unit rather than recessing in between studs.
9/18 The swivel board allows you to use both ends of the board. Using the narrow end for the collar, cuffs, and shoulder and then switching to the wide end to iron large pieces of a men's shirt really presents just as nice as the cleaners and much cheaper.
9/19 Always keep moving freshly ironed surfaces away from you, this prevents newly formed wrinkles.
9/20 Pressing costs between $3 to $5 per garment. At about 5 outfits per week can add up to $25 or more or $1300 per year. By investing one time in a quality built-in ironing center and ironing your own clothes, the product is paid for within six months and you will save dramatically on future dry cleaning expenses. This is not to mention gas and the inconvenience of dropping and picking up your garments.
9/21 Steam ironing removes creases faster than dry ironing because when fabrics are damp the fibers are open so the creases haven't taken hold.
9/22 Always predetermine if you want a swivel board or not. This feature is not a retrofit item and cannot be added later.
9/23 You can use melted ice from the freezer tray as sterilized water for your steam press or iron.
9/24 All ironing centers except the NE-242 are designed to fit between 2" x 4" studs on 16" center, but you can surface mount all units.
9/25 Trouser creases stay in place when you rub the crease on the inside of the pant leg with a piece of wet soap and then press on the right side.
