7/19 You should never, ever iron in circular strokes. This causes you to stretch the fabric. Iron lengthwise and level those ridges with a burst of steam.
7/20 If you ever noticed a shinny look to your pants after ironing, this could be because you applied to much pressure or you used to hot of setting.
7/21 To reduce wrinkles, spray starch on the underside of your garment and roll the clothing up to allow the fabric to absorb the moisture before ironing.
7/22 You can add sprigs of lavender to your ironing water for a fresher scent.
7/23 Electrical models are prewired. You simple connect the pigtailed wire located at the bottom of the electrical raceway with your incoming electrical wire.
7/24 Did you know that starch can help you keep cool when it's warm. Starched clothing allows more air to pass through it, keeping the person wearing it cooler.
7/25 The spotlight allows you to spot creases and crevices not found when ironing garments in insufficiently lit areas.
7/26 Don't settle for an imitation, you'll only be disappointed. Make sure when your builder or remodeler installs your built-in ironing center, it's no other brand than IRON-A-WAY. Our IRON-A-WAY logo can be found inside every unit we produce.
7/27 Steam ironing removes creases faster than dry ironing because when fabrics are damp the fibers are open so the creases haven't taken hold.
7/28 Pressing costs between $3 to $5 per garment. At about 5 outfits per week can add up to $25 or more or $1300 per year. By investing one time in a quality built-in ironing center and ironing your own clothes, the product is paid for within six months and you will save dramatically on future dry cleaning expenses. This is not to mention gas and the inconvenience of dropping and picking up your garments.
