HOW TO INSTALL INSERTS

TOOLS NEEDED:  1/4" Nut Driver or 1/4" Socket

Step 1

Open door and leave ironing board in upright position.

Step 2

Remove four screws on leg plate.

Step 3

Remove female leg (leg attached to the ironing board.)  NOTE:  The old insert will fall out upon removing leg.

Step 4

Insert the new spacer into the female leg.

Step 5

Replace the female leg.  Retighten screws on leg plate.

NOTE:  If you have a double leg ironing board, follow procedure above except you will remove the two screws on either left or right ironing board leg bracket.  (Only one bracket needs to be removed.)  Remove the leg bracket.  Remove the ironing board leg assembly and follow Steps 3 through 5 for each leg.  Replace ironing board leg bracket and retighten screws.

Board may have a slight upward tilt.  This will settle with use.  If board tips too far up, trim insert a little at a time with bolt cutter until level.

Tip Of The Day

Jul, 14 28
Pressing costs between $3 to $5 per garment. At about 5 outfits per week can add up to $25 or more or $1300 per year. By investing one time in a quality built-in ironing center and ironing your own clothes, the product is paid for within six months and you will save dramatically on future dry cleaning expenses. This is not to mention gas and the inconvenience of dropping and picking up your garments.
